Pour Boy #7 Selected as Site for Free Gas Promotion

CarterEnergy customer Pour Boy #7 was chosen to host a Free Gas Friday event on July 10, at their Phillips 66 branded location on NE Cookingham Drive in Kansas City, Missouri.
KCJK-FM Radio (105.1 Jack FM) promoted the event through a live remote broadcast from the store. During the week of the event, the station teased the opportunity to win gas at a “secret location,” which was revealed thirty minutes prior to the festivities.
As a special incentive to attend, the first 20 customers to arrive during the two-hour promotion were awarded a free $10 gasoline gift card. Customers could also register to win 105 gallons at the event and were given an opportunity to win additional prizes, such as t-shirts, movie tickets, key chains and gift cards.
“We were very pleased with the promotion, and always look forward to an opportunity to challenge our crew and showcase our location,” said Randy Allen, Supervisor of Pour Boy Oil Company. “We enjoyed the extra traffic and awareness of our location and look forward to our next opportunity to represent Phillips and CarterEnergy.”
The giveaway was part of ConocoPhillips’ summer WIN Gas For Life promotion. Running through August 31, the promotion offers a free game card with a purchase of 10 gallons or more at participating 76, Phillips 66 or Conoco retail stations. Players scratch the back of the game card to reveal a unique Access Number and can then go online or call a toll-free number to see if they are a winner.
